In October 2019 the Center for Single-Cell Omics recruited Dr. Christopher Heeschen as Professor and group leader of the Stem Cell & Cancer Group. His research at the CSCOmics will be focused on targeting cancer stem cells to prevent relapse in cancers with unmet medical need, with emphasis on pancreatic cancer.
